Valerie J. Wilson is currently the Executive Director of Talent Management at Harland Clarke Holdings and leads a team of Human Resource professionals that are responsible for maximizing organizational and individual development for close to 10,000 employees across the globe. In her current position she serves as a leadership development advisor, diversity and inclusion practitioner, workplace culture consultant, certified facilitator, and talent management strategist.

Valerie is the founder of Essence Learning, with the mission to mentor leaders and professionals to create a balanced life and to develop to their full potential.

As a public speaker in the corporate workplace, religious sectors and non-profit organizations she draws from her personal experiences and 35 years of leadership to teach, coach, develop and inspire self-awareness and personal development.
