Yolanda is passionate about seeing people operate in their personal power. Her energizing and connecting engagement style has a way of captivating the audience’s attention while making them feel like long lost friends reunited. She has a way of evoking thought provoking emotions and asking self-reflective questions that will leave the audience wanting more. With her strong presence and dynamic delivery, you can expect to be entertained and inspired. Her overall goal is to Impact, Influence and Ignite something within you that will make you BETTER. Her signature statement of, It’s imperative that you leave my presence better than you came! If not, our time was wasted! She supports this by sharing small bits of impactful information that you can take and use along life’s journey. These are referred to as, Yolanda’s Nuggets. Her presentations are filled with them and it’s up to you to grab as many as you need.
She’s dedicated to hosting sessions and development workshops in the physical, personal and professional areas. She’s operated Fit&40 Crew® an outdoor fitness boot camp since 2009 and in the planning stages of launching a workshop titled, My B.A.D. #unapologetic. An acronym for my brand, attitude and destiny, it’s designed to provoke next level thoughts and behaviors.
Her first book, Achieving Peace, a 31-day fitness devotional was released in 2013 with plans of releasing Achieving Power, 31 nuggets to optimal personal performance in 2018. In the meantime, she’s busy penning and have several e-books in the pipeline.
Although she recently started her own business, Alpha Discovery Group LLC, Yolanda’s day job as a Relationship Consultant with Blue Zones Project allows her the opportunity to work with employers across the city of Fort Worth implementing researched best practices designed to lower healthcare cost and improve productivity. Yolanda is also a Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist and will be continuing her education by pursuing her MBA at Texas Woman’s University.
Yolanda was recently selected to serve on the Fort Worth Task Force on Race and Culture, acknowledged for her contribution to business and community in the Fort Worth Business Press Top 21 Women to Watch in Fort Worth and Who’s Who in Black Dallas.
In her spare time, she enjoys a minimalist lifestyle, working out, an avid reader and watching documentaries.
