Mission

The mission of the Young Women’s Leadership Symposium is to promote the development of future leaders by giving young women access to mentors and a forum where they can engage in the critical ongoing discussions that will define their identities, goals, and changing lives. The Symposium will focus on leadership, college and career planning, diversity, and female advocacy. By learning from successful businesspersons and community leaders, young women can practice skills necessary for making responsible choices, working with others, visualizing success, and thinking about the opportunities awaiting them in the future, now.

Vision

To encourage and empower the next generation of female leaders by creating a network of programs that provide valuable resources necessary for critical thinking, healthy self-perception, and successful, life-transforming skills. Young Women’s Leadership Symposiums value young people of all backgrounds, and aim to create settings and relationships that will help young women define themselves and envision their own future.
